Bee got his start hosting parties and orchestrating events back in Zurich, Switzerland. By the late nineties, he was back in Toronto and hit the ground running — hosting soirées, creating spectacles, and, after publishing Cocktail Parties For Dummies and landing a record deal with BMG, things really began to take flight.
Soon Bee found himself juggling every conceivable role for clients: emcee, entertainment booker, stage manager, venue scout, caterer consultant, sometimes even sponsor wrangler. He lent his talents to charities like Covenant House, The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, The Temagami Wilderness Foundation, and Daily Bread Food Bank, while corporate clients ranged from Tim Hortons and HMV to Gillette, Famous Players Theatres, The National Ballet of Canada, and The Canadian Opera Company.
While the thrill of a big gala or corporate extravaganza still excites him, Bee delights just as much in more intimate gatherings. His famous salons are a masterclass in elegance and atmosphere: he shows up with singers, musicians, a PA, and occasionally a videographer to capture the magic for social media. Every event, whether grand or cozy, is infused with his signature mix of style, humour, and effortless charm — a Bee production always leaves an impression, and often a smile.

Bee has been Music Director at Massey Hall for over a dozen shows — a role that seems tailor-made for his mix of precision, charm, and playful unpredictability. He’s also lent his magic to Mark Breslin’s comedy TV specials, backing up the likes of Jim Carrey, Emo Phillips, Harland Williams, Judy Tenuta, and a parade of other brilliant, quirky talents.
When it comes to Toronto venues, he’s equally at home at Koerner Hall, Lula Lounge, Hugh’s Room Live, and the Old Mill — each space a canvas for his eclectic musical vision. And the scope of his work? Virtually limitless. Marching bands, jazz combos, DJs, karaoke, or even the unusual — a mentalist or a “balloonatic” — Bee’s mission remains the same: to make every event not just memorable, but unforgettable, a little bit magical, and undeniably his own.
